Planting Promise is a small, dynamic charity running three primary schools in Sierra Leone.  Since it was founded in 2008 by young social entrepreneur, Rocco Falconer, Planting Promise has also set up and run a number of farming and food processing enterprises, the proceeds of which have benefitted local communities –  generating income, providing hundreds of employment opportunities as well as helping fund our schools.

Purpose of the Role

The role will report to the Chief Executive (UK) and will have responsibility for:

• the day-to-day running of Planting Promise's operations in Freetown, Sierra Leone
• supporting the Chief Executive (based in the UK) and the Consultant to Planting Promise (based in Sierra Leone) in the strategic development, planning and implementation of its education programmes and social enterprises.
