Guy HENRY, Leader, Impact Assessment and Strategic Studies, CIAT.
Mr. Henry, a Dutch national is a senior policy economist with the French CIRAD, and he has been seconded to CIAT since 2011.
During the last 16 years he was stationed for CIRAD in Brazil and Argentina, responsible for coordinating several EU bi-regional policy research projects, and bi-regional S&T cooperation platforms. Recent research has focused on: private and public regulations impacts on international ag trade and chain competitiveness, international R&D cooperation models, and the LAC Bioeconomy.
Mr. Henry holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University.
At CIAT he is responsible for ongoing activities around LAC Foresight. As such he is scheduled to hold a presentation at GCARD12 during Breakout sub-Session 3.2
