Have worked in agricultural research in Zimbabwe within the southern African region for the past 33 years and have made input in dryland agriculture in semi-arid areas, irrigatigated cropping, horticulture, wetland management systems, multi-disciplinary research and development formulation and coordination, prioritization and leadership in partnerships.

Am currently in a team spearheading and coordinating the finalization of the CAADP processes in the country, am participating in the Harmonization of the Seed Security Program (HASSP), coordinating the the national chapter on Food for Water Challenge program (CPWFN) based in the Limpopo Basin, and have developed a Wetland Management System (Ngwarati) that allows for their rehabilitation and sustainable management and use. Am impementing model program for rehabilitating degraded ecosystems to revive natural resources and their capacity to provide environmental services that can enhance productivity and livelihoods given climatic changes
