Ph.D. in Agronomy from the University of Montpellier II in 1981. Carrier at Inra-France. Inra's Research Director of exceptional class (DRex) since 2010.
R. Habib was for 5 years (2002 to 2006) Deputy Head of Department "Environment and Agronomy" of INRA, particularly in charge of the scientific field at the interface between agriculture and environment.
Then he has been seconded to CIRAD (Centre for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development) on 1 January 2007, for more than five years. He held there the position of Sientific Director, and Chief Scientist of the Division "Performance of tropical production and processing systems"
Back at the INRA on 1st March 2012, he currently holds the position of Head of International Scientific Partnerships.
