A recent European Commission convened workshop brought together CGIAR stakeholders with representatives of the European and African research communities to for a mutual interchange of views and perspectives.  

 

The discussions demonstrated that collectively research is leading to substantial impact on the livelihoods of poor smallholder farmers in developing countries and that there is potential to further scale up successes and strengthen linkages.
