Debre Tabor University (DTU) is a newly founded University, in 2010. It is located on the Eastern part of Debre Tabor Town, at the foot of Guna Mountain and adjacent to Gafat. Gafat was the first industrial village in Ethiopia, in the 1860s.
30 year career in industry, focusing on applied research towards agronomy, crop science, crop protection, and phytopathology, in the capacity of product development and technical support scientist. Broad-based education in agronomy (BS), crop science (MS), and plant pathology (PhD). Competencies demonstrated in research station and laboratory management, team leader, and technology / knowledge transfer to stakeholders. Experience encompasses working with mid-western USA row crops, temperate and tropical fruits, vegetable and specialty crops.
Koissaba B.R. Ole is a Ph.D. candidate in
International Family and Community Studies at
the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life,
Clemson University, SC. His research area is in
International Development, Human Rights and
Advocacy. Koissaba holds a Master of Art in Social
Entrepreneurship from Northwest University WA,
and Post Graduate Studies in Theology and
Development from Leeds University. He has

I am the SAFE programme Officer of SAFE, based in Addis Ababa. I am an Agricultural Expansionist and ICT/Data Base specialist. Currently with SAFE, we are working to bring effective extension delivery systems in Sub-Saharan Africa that are based on farmer needs and demands along the entire agricultural value chain, with a special focus on poor and marginalized farmers, most of whom are women. We do have more that 25 partners.
The French Institute of Pondicherry (IFP), UMIFRE 21 CNRS-MAEE, is a financially autonomous institution under the joint supervision of the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MAEE) and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). It is an integral part of the network of 27 research centres connected to this Ministry. It is also part of the research unit 3330 “Savoirs et Mondes Indiens” of the CNRS, along with the Centre de Sciences Humaines (CSH) in New Delhi. The IFP is an affiliated research institute of the Pondicherry University.
