Dr. Habib Maimuna Abdullahi was born on 11th of January, 1963. She graduated in 1987 as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She had her one year compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) from 1987 – 1988 with the Nigerian Police Force Veterinary Clinic, Obalende, Lagos. She also holds a Master Degree in Preventive Veterinary Medicine (MPVM) from University of California, Davis from 2001 – 2002 and a second Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Lagos from 2004 -2006.
