Agronomist Engineer, Master Degree in Agribusiness, I am working with Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) from Costa Rica. Our interest areas to research is related to: tropical horticulture, tropical floriculture, agroforestry systems and sustainable agribiotechnology. I am university professor in Costa Rica at UNED in Agronomic Engineering Program. I am looking to do research projects and to stablish net of cooperation and research in the topics of my interest and experience.

Since 2008, John Beer has been the director of CATIE’s (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) Research and Development Division. He had previously served in various positions at CATIE: deputy director general, director of the Department of Agriculture and Agroforestry, head of the Area of Watershed Management and Agroforestry, scientist and leader in different regional agroforestry projects, and faculty member of CATIE’s Graduate School.

I am the director of the biodiversity and integrated gene management program. I oversee breeders and germplasm specialist, pathologist, entomologist, biotechnologist etc.

 Ph.D in Economics from School of Economics, Andhra University. Was Doctoral Fellow of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi from Oct’09 to Jul’11.
 Presently performing the role of a Teaching Associate at Centre for Distance Learning, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam
 Ability to maintain a well-disciplined and highly motivated classroom. Offer individual support and provide positive encouragement to ensure that each child succeeds.
 Proficient in devising effective strategies based on research reports.

Socio-Economist researcher at the National Center for Agricultural Research and Extension (NCARE). Start working at NCARE since 1998 . I have 13 years of wide range of experience in designing, conducting, computer coding & analysis using statistical packages and writing final technical reports for the Socio-economic studies. Implementing adoption and impact assessment studies of agricultural projects and the socioeconomic studies component for any research project. Participated in many training courses.

Served as a Agricultural Advisor with the Ministry of Agriculture from 1991. Currently Function as the Chief of Extension Rural Advisory Services with responsiblity for program planning, implementation and evaluation with a complement of 37 members of staff.
MSc in rural development from Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine (London) 2006.
Currently studying an Ecourse with WTO on "Agriculture in the WTO"

Agricultural professional with 20 years experience in management of research and innovation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. Working as IICAs Representative in the Regional Fund for Agricultural Research (FONTAGRO) and Executive Secretary of the Agricultural Research Program for the Northern Region (PROCINORTE). Has worked at FAO, CIMMYT and ISNAR as researcher, research coordinator and project manager.
