I am presently working as Senior Scientist (Agronomy) at Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur and involved in research activities related to resource conservation technology for pulse based cropping systems and rice fallow. I have received scholarship for my post-graduation and doctoral degree. I have developed many technologies like crop diversification with off-season pulses/vegetables, intercropping, relay cropping, production technology for protected agriculture, and weed management which has increased the farmer's income and livelihood.

I have a Master Degree in Agricultural Extension and a post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Research for Development.
Im currently an Assistant Coordinator for the Centre for Rural Community Empowerment, University of Limpopo. I coordinate/facilitate rural development processes in collaboration with rural communities with assistance from students from the School of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Currently rendering my services as Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Communication. I have been awarded "Leader of the new Millenuim" and Star Man 2003 on account of versatile contribution in many spheres of life. I am also consultant of Action Aid International, DOVE (Develop Our Valuable Earth) and many national and regional NGOs. Moreover, I am also the Executive Director (Research and Development) of DOVE. I have trained more than 1800 famers and 450 Government officials regarding Agriculture and its allied areas.

George Okore obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Sciences from Moi University, Kenya in 1993. Between 1994 and 2004, he worked in Nairobi, Kenya as an editor with Kenya Times newspapers and later as an editor at All Africa News Agency.George currently works as an editorial consultant for several international publications. He also contributes as a freelance journalist to several online newspapers including Think Africa Press, News From Africa, New Agriculturists and Ooska News among others.

Graduation in Agricultural Engineering. PhD in Process and Food Engineering from GB Pant University of Ag & Tech, Pantnagar and worked on enzyme treatment to oilseeds for enhanced oil content. Worked at Central institute of Agril engineering, Bhopal (MP) India from March 1990- july 1993. 19 years experience in feed and fodder processing including baling and densification. 20 published articles including research papers, popular articles etc.
