I'm doing my M.sc in plant Breding and Genetics in AC & RI, Madurai, TNAU, Tamilnadu, India.
Studying for a PhD at the Natural Resources Institute, University of Greenwich, UK.
Interests include, chemical ecology, plant and insect interactions, sustainable pest control, and IPM.
Previously worked on the RELU project in the UK, and the 'Push-Pull' project in Kenya.
Degree in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering at the Federal University of Semi-Arid Rurarl / Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil), currently studying Masters in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco / Pernambuco (Brazil), studying Engineering Specialization Environmental Licensing for Onshore IFRN / PROMINP / PETROBRAS in Natal / RN (Brazil).
Managing an action research in south-asia called Strengthening Adaptive Farming in Bangladesh, India & Nepal (SAFBIN) focusing on "building resilience to climate change through strengthening adaptive small scale farming systems in rainfed areas in Bangladesh, India and Nepal". This programme is supported by European Union under the "Food Security thematic programme" of the "Global Programme on Agricultural Research for Development". South Asia Coordination Unit of the Programme is based in Caritas India with partners in Austria, Bangladesh, India and Nepal.
Sébastien Treyer holds a background in environmental engineering, a PhD in environment management, and specialises in foresights for environmental policies. He has been in charge of developing foresights at the French ministry for environment, worked as a researcher at AgroParisTech, and is now director of programmes at Iddri (institute for sustainable development and international relations, Paris), a think tank specialised in policy research and negotiations for environmental issues necessitating coordination at the international scale.
