To be focused on the YPARD objective of formulation and participation of the youth in the ARD the role of social media is important. Today we have millions of users in facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, Goggle+ etc. and most of them are youths. We can obviously use these media in motivating youth for our objective and develop them as a platform of constructive and elaborative discussions that would help to promote and meet YPARD objectives and strategies. Also it will be the platform to inform the upcoming generation about the media and its role in productive discussions and they will be motivated to use such social media in a constructive ways. Accessibility of social media on large no of peoples via desktops, laptops, PDAs, smart phones, and other ordinary java and symbion cell phones has widened its scope and effectiveness in promoting ideas on youth participation and ARD.
