Dr. Abdelhamid is Associate professor at Botany Department, National Research centre, Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Abdelhamid has been awarded his PhD from Gifu University, Japan and pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Western Australia. He is expert on “Plant physiology under environmental stresses” and his main concern is increasing crop production, especially in arid areas. Currently, he is national coordinating two EU projects 1) "SIRRIMED” and 2) "Sustain Water Med ".
