I'm Jules Mateo (full name: Julie Christine, which I rarely use), a regional communications specialist for an international nonprofit organization - International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) - headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. I work for ILRI's East and Southeast Asia region (regional office in Hanoi, but I'm hosted by IRRI in Los Banos, Philippines) and provide research communications support for the region, as well as the CGIAR Research Programs working here.

Better Budget Initiative (BBI) empower and build capacity of Right holders as well as Duty Bearers to be innovative and understand budgets and its processes and in particular creates awareness of citizens of the importance of being active citizens in the budget processes including their own individual and family budgets.

We also build the capacity of Small Holder Farmers in Agriculture Budgets Monitoring, Advocacy and Campaigns.
