The Steering Committee (StC) of the High Level Panel of Experts (HLPE-FSN) of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) is to be renewed in 2023, for a 2-year term starting at the closure of the CFS’s ordinary Plenary session in October 2023 and ending at the closure of the ordinary Plenary session in October 2025.

GFAR's Collective Action on Forgotten Foods and subsequent landmark document Global Manifesto on Forgotten Foods have been mentioned in the Science and Innovations for Food Systems Transformation book. The chapter on Marginal Areas and Indigenous People Priorities for Research and Action delves into the need to diversify our food systems and offers the Manifesto as one of the priorities and proposed actions to achieve this.
