The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has released a web update featuring stories making a call for increased investment in smallholder agriculture in order to remove the root causes that lead to conflict and migration, and to better enable achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of ending poverty and hunger.

The International Centre for development oriented Research in Agriculture (ICRA) is offering two 3-week courses for which registration has just opened, one targeted at lecturers and researchers working in tertiary agricultural education, and the other targeted at professionals involved in facilitating and coaching rural innovation.

A few NFP scholarships are available to attend these courses.
