Tom Arnold was appointed CEO of Concern Worldwide in 2001. He was previously Assistant Secretary General and Chief Economist in the Department of Agriculture and Food in Ireland. He worked for the European Commission for 10 years. Mr Arnold was elected in 2010 to the Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) charged with leading the reform of the international agriculture research system. He is a member of the International Food Policy Research Institute’s (IFPRI) advisory Board.

I am a Doctorate PhD student In Nutrition and Food Sciences; I am very interested in focusing my research career on Nutrition and food security. since this important area of research is not well developed in Cameroon. Even though our country is facing much difficulty to nourish well the large poor population and the condition are by worsen climatic changing. I there need to be well equipped to provide our population and government with scientific data which will help manage the situation.

Henri Carsalade is Chair of ICARDA Board of Trustees. He was President of Agropolis International in Montpellier, France, from 2006 to 2009, and is currently the Chair of the Governing Board of Agropolis Foundation. An expert in the administration and management of development and research, international relations, agreements and fund raising, Mr Henri Carsalade is retired from the French administration where he was a member of the General Council for Agriculture, advising the Minister of Agriculture of France.

As academic qualification, I have a Master degree on Rural and Tropical Forestry and, PhD on Plant Biology and improvement. In addition, I have more than 17 years of professional experiences, coordinated various projects in a multicultural context many national and international. I also had the opportunity to manage huge private companies dealing with agricultural products. I’m well experienced on knowledge sharing, coaching students and staff works and, empowering local populations.

Ebba Augustin, CEO of the Philanthropy advisory SAANED, based in Amman/Jordan, Political and Social Scientist, has 20 years of work experience as project manager, adviser, researcher and consultant in the Middle East. Trained in the Development Planning Unit, University College London in 1991 she is a gender specialist with extensive experience in the water sector, agriculture and employment promotion. Since the early 90s she has conducted gender studies in the Middle East Region and conceptualized and advised gender projects and programs.
