Prof. (Dr) A. Zaman specializes in Agricultural Water Management for enhancing crop and water productivity as an Agronomist and presently acting as Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, BCKVand Professor of Agronomy in Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya [SAU], West Bengal, India. Prof Zaman, former Director of Research, and former Chief Scientist (Water Management) of the same university; Prof. Zaman successfully guided 7 (seven) Ph D students towards their doctoral degree programme and more than 50 (fifty) M. Sc.

At the moment, i'm the Head of Department, Crop and Environmental Protection, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. I am a seasoned and erudite scholar with focus in the aspects of organic agriculture, nematology, crop protection and plant pathology. I have more than 50 publications. I did my Post-Doctoral programme at Coventry University, UK (2007-2008). I am the founder and Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Organic Agriculture Research and Development (http://www.ijoard.org).

Bernard Vanlauwe joined IITA in Kenya in March 2012 to lead the Central Africa hub and the Natural Resource Management research area. He is also having an oversight role in the Humidtropics, the Water, Land, and Ecosystems, and the CCAFS CRPs. Prior to this, he was the leader of the Integrated Soil Fertility Management (ISFM) program of the Tropical Soil Biology and Fertility research area of CIAT (TSBF-CIAT). He joined CIAT-TSBF in 2001 and led the development, adaptation, and dissemination of best ISFM options in various agro-ecological zones in sub-Saharan Africa.

I am also traoner.I organize training in the field of agricultural research.

I am an accomplished project manager with expertise in all elements of project cycle management, strategy formulation and review, report and proposal writing, expenses control, execution of project work plans, managing resource allocation, scheduling project timelines, fundraising and budget management. I have extensive skills in budget formulation and implementation, project monitoring and evaluation, operations and financial management and staff training and motivation. I have the ability to present concepts to individuals and groups and manage complex issues creatively and effectively.
