Scott Killough is the Vice President for Learning and Innovation at World Neighbors. He has more than 25 years experience in participatory rural and agricultural development management, having worked and lived in several countries. His background in rural development includes field experience and expertise in program development and management, institutional learning and innovation mechanisms focusing on participatory methods, agricultural extension education systems, and sustainable agriculture practices in the tropics.

I am a graduate of Agricultural Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. I work with the BRACED COMMISSION which is a regional body responsible for the socioeconomic integration of the South-South region of Nigeria, as Team Lead in the Commission's Agricultural Programmes.

Director of Futures Programmes, Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. I have led a number of ambitious, international foresight programmes, focused variously on significant challenges of energy-, water-, food-security and sustainable health systems. to mention some of the topical foci. I have experience of conducting futures-orientated research and analysis in single client and multi-stakeholder settings.

Researcher at the Institute of Social Ecology Vienna (SEC), Alpen-Adria Universitaet Klagenfurt/Vienna/Graz. Background in biology, currently working in the field of Environmental Sciences, with a focus on different aspects of the global carbon cycle, bioenergy potentials and integrated scenarios of the global biomass demand and according land use.

Bernard HUBERT, Senior scientist at the National Institute for Agricultural Research (Institut National de Recherche Agronomique, INRA) and Professor at the Advanced School for the Social Sciences (Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, EHESS), trained as an ecologist (his thesis study concerned functional ecology in Western Africa), but his work has broadened as he has questioned the role of human activities in this setting, seeking to understand the contribution of the social sciences to issues in the life sciences.

Maurits van den Berg (1960) is Senior Policy Researcher Agriculture, at PBL the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. He has wide experience in the development and application of novel approaches to assess agronomic, economic and environmental performance of (agricultural) land use systems at scales ranging from sub-field level to global level. He holds an MSc degree in Agricultural Sciences from Wageningen University (1986) and a Doctors degree (≈PhD) from Utrecht University (2000).
