Holder of an MBA and a PhD in economics and management, and auditor of the Institut des hautes études pour la science et la technologie, I have began my career at ISNAR, one of the CGIAR centers .
In 1988, I joined CIRAD as a researcher in the Foresight and agricultural policies research unit. There I was responsible for several foresight exercices and participated to the evaluation of research programs.
Andrew Ward is a Program Officer in the CGIAR Consortium Office based in Montpellier in France where he has been based since May 2011. He is particularly interested in issues concerned with getting research to fulfill its development potential which starts before the research begins and so links with issues of foresight. Previous to joining the CGIAR he worked on the DFID funded Research into Use programme and previous to that the DFID funded Crop Protection Programme. He tries to maintain a balance of science (social and natural) and development interests.

Bruno Dorin was trained in economics (Ph.D., 1994), management (1989) and agriculture (1988). He began working for the French ministry of agriculture before living eight years in India where he was Director of the Centre de Sciences Humaines in New Delhi.
Graduated in Biology (University of El Salvador). Degree obtained: BA in Biology. Inclination professional with emphasis in Biotechnology, Tissue Culture and Plant Physiology.
Graduated in Environmental Management (Diploma, Universidad Centroamericana José Simeon Cañas) with focus on Biosafety.
