A member of the Coordinating Committee of the International Planning Committee of CSOs and NGOs operating under the FAO since 2003, and a member of the Coordinating Committee of the International More and Better aid to Agriculture Network, inaugurated in 2004. Engaged in many International Planning Sessions, Conferences and Seminars either as facilitator and/or a speaker.

I am Professor in Governance and Rural Development, University of the Philippines Los Banos,performing instruction,research,extension and consultancy/advisory functions. International commitments: Member of the Steering Committee of the Global Forum For Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS)where i serve as focal person for Asia-Pacific Islands;Presently serve as Regional Coordinator of the Asia-Pacific Regional Advisory Services (APIRAS)Network;locally,active in two professional organizations: Phil. Extension Network and Phil.Asso.

Pamela K. Anderson has been Director General of the International Potato Center (CIP) since May 2005. CIP is one of fifteen international agricultural research centers supported by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). Prior to becoming Director General, she served as the Deputy Director General of Research at CIP (2002-2005) and as Senior Entomologist at the International Center for Tropical Agricultural, in Cali, Colombia (1997-2002). She received a M.Sc.

Dr. Simon Cook is a specialist in water, agriculture and rural development and was formerly coordinator of the Basin Focal Projects of the CGIAR Challenge Program on Water and Food (CPWF), a USD 10 million initiative to identify the condition of food, agricultural water and poverty in ten major river basins in the tropics. A native of the UK, now with dual British and Australian citizenship, Dr. Cook gained his PhD in soil science and agronomy at the University of Cambridge, UK.
