Principal Agricultural Research Institute based at Mikocheni Agricultural Research Institute (MARI) in Tanzania. She is experienced researcher in plant nutrition, plant physiology (drought stress) and cropping systems. She is involved in various networks both national and international. She has headed coconut agronomy section for over 20 years and coffee agronomy for three years. She has been a fellow of round one in African Women in Agriculture and Research Development (AWARD) under Gender and diversity Programme hosted under ICRAF.

Dr Ravi Prabhu joined World Agroforestry Centre in January 2012. He earned his professional degree and doctorate in forestry from the University of Goettingen, Germany. He is responsible for overseeing the whole research programme at the Centre. He was previously a Senior Programme Officer, Forests and Climate Change with United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Nairobi.

Prof. August Temu is the Deputy Director General responsible for Partnership and Impact at the World Agroforestry Centre. He was the first Executive Secretary of the African Network for Agriculture, Agroforestry and Natural Resources Education (ANAFE). Between 1973 and 1992 he worked at Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania where he held various senior management positions, including Deanship of the Faculty of Forestry and Nature Conservation.

As Programme Officer on Agriculture at ICTSD, I've managed several studies and organized many high impact meetings on trade, agriculture and food security. We regularly bring together thought leaders, senior government officials and partners in the private sector to discuss and act on concrete issues - particularly negotiations at the WTO. On a near weekly basis, with a help of broad network of contacts, I report on international agricultural trade issues in Geneva, Rome and elsewhere for the subscribers to our periodicals, such as Bridges.

I am the manager of the Toledo Development Corporation, an agency with the mandate to facilitate, coordinate and promote sustainable development in the poorest district of Belize. I have over 30 years experience in rural/community development. I collaborate with NGOs, government agencies and other civil society organizations to deliver services to the rural poor to promote food security and sustainable livelihood activities. We recently formed a network (10 members) called the Toledo Agricultural Development Agencies (TADA).

I have possesses M.Sc., M.Phil. & Ph.D. Degree in Bio-Sciences (Plant-Sciences). I am working in a capacity of Superintendent Botanical Garden in MD University, Rohtak, Haryana, India since 02/11/1995. Currently, I am engage in research works in the field of Antimicrobial Effect of Plants Extracts against Phytopathogens and 33 numbers research papers have been published. The research work indicates that the use of plant extracts as antimicrobial agent to control plant pathogens is feasible and is cost effective as the material used is inexpensive.
