Thomas A. Lumpkin has served as Director General of the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center since 15 March 2008. CIMMYT is 1 of 15 international agricultural research centers supported by the CGIAR. Lumpkin grew up on a small farm in eastern Washington State USA, located on the boundary between the irrigated desert and the rainfed wheat production area. As a young man, he served in the Peace Corps in the Konkan region of India, teaching rice production along with wheat and horticultural crops.

I am a holder of a Bachelor of Science Natural Resources Management and Agriculture Degree with an Honours Degree in Agronomy. I have experience in agricultural research. Iam interested in Natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, conservation biology and community development. Iam currently studying towards a Master of Science Degree in Sustainable agriculture.

Associate Professor SLU; Contracted by Sida to represent Sweden in the CGIAR Fund Council and have attended all meetings of the Inaugural Fund Council (2010 - 2012); Convenor of the FC Peer Review Team (PRT) responsible for reviewing CGIAR Entities System Costs and Efficiencies.

J'aime participer à des colloques , conférences internationales pour limer ma cervelle contre celle des autres afin d'être aguerri aux questions du déloppement. J'ai participé à plusieurs travaux de recherche et de consultation, ce qui m'a permis d'avoir l'armada nécessaire dans ce domaine.

I am Ph D in Agriculture (Extension Education) working as Sr. Scientist (Agricultural Extension) at Regional Research Station, Pali of Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur under NARS, India. I have 14 years experience of Research in agricultral extension and field extension in Arid Zone of India. My research areas are impact analysis, adoption, knowledge and training need assessment, technological interventions and constraint analysis.

Temidayo Apata, Nigerian, had his University Education from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he obtained Doctorate Degree in Agricultural Economics in the year 2006. Dr. Apata has just completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistics (with special reference in Statistical Inference and Econometrics). Dr. Apata is a Senior Lecturer and acting Head of Department in the Department of Agricultural Economics' and Extension, Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Nigeria. He has over 35 publications to his credit.

Im an agriculture ingenier. I worked as supervisor on a project with a rural community for developping new approch against poverty and hunger. We are developping a new approch to build agriculture entreprises wich can be competitive on new value chain like rice and other livestock.
