Head of Agribusiness at IICA, with interest in food security and linking farmers to markets. Represented IICA at the G20 and also at the high level forum on food security at FAO 2008. Also was chairman of the GPP-Linking Farmers to markets. Advisory to World Food Program within the P4P project.

I am an associate professor from Myanmar. My research area is biotechnology especially in Agriculture. I am interested in nearly nature farming for our farmer. And also want to develop their life, environment and farming systems too.
What I am doing is the production and distribution of chitin-chitosan agricultural spray, natural fertilizers, biofertilizers, biocontrol agents for farmer with low cost under government.
Now I am also finding out agarwood formation (resin formation) with bio-organic agents. That is my own research under co-operation society.

PhD from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi in Agricultural Extension. Served State Department of Agriculture as Agriculture officer 1992-96) and Scientist (198-99)in Indian council of Agriculture Research before joining Kerala agricultural University in1999 as Assistant Professor. Presently Associate Professor involved with teaching in UG and PG Programmes, Also undertake research in technology dissemination and research into use, organize extension activities through development departments and farmer organizations.

I am a postgraduate masters in Agriculture student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana and with the Department of Agriculture Economics, Agribusiness and Extension.
I am a young agriculture economist who would like to provide devoted and competent service to any organisation I find myself for the achievement of the organisations objectives. I am a team player with leadership qualities, self-motivated, self-driven, ambitious and assuming gentleman who work on self-initiative.

Ruben G. Echeverría is Director General of CIAT (Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical) with headquarters in Colombia. He holds a BSc degree from the University of Uruguay with a MSc and PhD in Agriculture and Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, USA. From the late 1970s to early 1980s, Ruben worked for the Uruguayan Land Reform Institute, heading its extension service. Afterwards, in connection with his PhD thesis, he conducted research in Mexico and Guatemala for the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) in Mexico.

Am currently the Deputy Executive Director for Agriculture and Natural Resources Research and Development of PCAARRD. As such, my office coordinates the planning/direction setting, packaging, evaluation and monitoring of R&D projects in agriculture, forestry, soils & water resources for funding by the government.
