Twenty five years experience in rural area, in designing, implementing and evaluating programs and projects; rural organizations development; rural advisory and financial services; financial funding mechanisms, tools and organization to implement projects; participatory mechanisms for design, evaluation and project implementation.

Since 2006 James French oversees the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture’s Technical Programs as Director of Technical Cooperation. IICA acts as Technical Secretariat to FORAGRO, to the PROCIS, and Sub-regional networks of institutional research institutions and supports its Member Countries in areas related to Technology and Innovation, Rural Development, Business Development, Food Security and Climate Change, focusing on small holder producers and family agriculture.

André Devaux, Belgian, Ph.D. in Agriculture Science at “Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL)”, Belgium, with more than 25 years’ experience. Most of his career has been associated with the International Potato Center (CIP). He has developed expertise in strengthening agriculture research and development programs working with multidisciplinary teams in Latin America (Andes), Africa (east Africa) and Asia (Pakistan). Extensive research experience in potato production and innovation systems, value chain approach and public-private partnership.

I have been involved in the assessment of natural resources in forestry and agriculture for the past 20 years. I am now advising the European Commission on foresight studies with priorities on Global Food Security issues. We identify priority areas for Europe in terms of impacting on world's food situation.

I am the Director of the Centre for Research on Innovation and Science Policy (CRISP), an independent policy research centre located at Hyderabad, India, since April 2006. Previously I worked with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research at its National Centre for Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NCAP), New Delhi from 1993-2006. My main areas of research include agricultural extension policy and application of innovations systems framework in agriculture.
